Cookie Policy

1. Introduction
SinglbasePM, operated by Singlbase Technologies Limited, uses cookies and similar browser storage when you use the platform. This policy explains exactly which ones we use, why, and how you can control them.
It lists everything we set. It is not a generic description of what a SaaS platform might use: if an item is not in the tables below, we do not set it.
Read this alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
3. Categories
Strictly Necessary
Required for the platform to work at all: signing in, staying signed in, and keeping your session secure. These cannot be switched off, because without them the Service you asked for cannot be delivered.
Functional
Remember choices you make about how the interface looks. Set only if you consent. If you decline, the platform works normally but forgets these preferences between sessions.
Analytics and Marketing: none
We use no analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, social media trackers, or third-party crash-reporting tools, on the web platform or in our mobile apps. We have no analytics provider at all. If that ever changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent before switching anything on. We will not enable it silently.
5. Other Browser Storage We Use
These are not cookies and are never transmitted to our servers, but we list them because they are stored on your device and some briefly hold personal data.

All of these are strictly necessary: the first records your own privacy choice, the two dismissal records only remember what you have already chosen to hide, and the rest exist only to carry a multi-step flow you started. None persists beyond the browser tab except your cookie choice and those dismissal records.
6. Third-Party Cookies
We set no third-party cookies on our own domain. Three services you may interact with set cookies on their domains, which we can neither read nor control:
- Google: if you sign in with Google, cookies are set on accounts.google.com as part of the OAuth flow, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The same applies if you connect Google Calendar.
- Paystack: when you add a card or subscribe, Paystack serves a secure payment iframe and may set session cookies on its own domain to complete the payment. Governed by Paystack's Privacy Policy. Card details entered there never reach our servers.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: bot protection on sign-in, sign-up, and password reset may set a cookie or use browser storage to perform its check. Governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Turnstile is designed not to track users across sites.
We use no advertising network, no social media pixel, and no third-party analytics provider.
7. Managing Your Preferences
Our consent manager
Use the button below to change what you allow, at any time. Your choice takes effect immediately: turning off functional cookies deletes the ones already set rather than merely recording a preference.
Browser settings
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
Withdrawing consent
Choose “Reject non-essential” at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
8. Legal Basis
We process personal data associated with cookies under the Data Protection Act, 2019 and the Data Protection (General) Regulations, 2021 of Kenya:
- Strictly necessary cookies and storage: contractual necessity, as they are required to deliver the Service you asked for under our Terms.
- Functional cookies: your consent, given through the consent manager. Nothing in this category is set before you choose.
Under regulation 4, consent is not freely given if it is presumed from silence or pre-selected on your behalf. Our consent manager therefore starts with every optional category switched off, and nothing optional is written until you actively allow it.
9. Retention
Cookies are kept for the durations in section 4. sessionStorage items are cleared when the tab closes. Your consent choice persists until you change it or clear browser storage. If you clear it, or use a private window, the banner reappears and nothing optional is set until you choose again.
Your consent record is stored against a version of this policy. If we change what we set in a way that requires fresh consent, that version changes and we ask you again rather than relying on a choice you made about something else.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. When we make a material change we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date above.
- Show a fresh consent notice where the change requires new consent.
- Email registered account owners if the change is significant.
